Sunday...

had a heartwarming chat with my parents this morning as usual...every sunday morning (US time) is designated and reserved for family talk...

juz finished an essay due on tuesday but sth which i had to churn out by tonite cos i need to print it tmr...
was rushing my discipline based module's homework tis morning while watching Man U vs. Arsenal match before goign for my proj meeting in the aftn....
it was so gratifying to see Adebayor slot in the goal and there I stood, in front of 2 friends who are Man U fans and who were taunting me and giving me no peace throughout that first 80+ mins until the goal silenced them...hahaz....sorry guys, but Arsenal is still the better team....don get too arrogant juz because it's ur best start in 21yrs....ur best start doesn't necessarily guarantee the best end...don forget whatever goes up must come down....proven by Issac Newton if u must ask....
hahaz...

cooked a good dinner tonite....i fried the breaded chicken again and made an egg omelette with minced pork...was nice too...hehez...i'm beginning to feel that i might after all hav more capabilities than i had imagined =p nah...juz kidding...it wasn't dat hard frying stuff...hahaz...
well, i'll leave the judgement and verdict to my family and frens who will get to try my cooking in future...

************************************************************************************

I wanna devote more time to work...i feel that i am not doing enuff with regards to work...
Focus, focus, focus....Entrepreneurship is undoubtedly my #1 priority...
perhaps it will make some ppl luff off their chairs....but 1 of the main reasons y i've worked so hard to get to here now where i am is because i wanna respond to Singapore's call for more entrepreneurs, and to be more exact, successful entrepreneurs who will be running global businesses....
Singapore has traditionally depended on its manufacturing and services industries and with the govt injecting billions of funds in to Bio-Tech and Digital & Interactive Media, it is also calling out for a stronger entrepreneurial spirit within Singaporeans so as to forge a common, committed and strong progress ahead in the light of globalisation and the emergence of China and India as the main competitors in Asia as well as in the international realm....
We need this to keep our economy strong, reserves healthy, and overall, to sustain a healthy economic growth yr after yr....

For your info, Singapore, despite it being such a teeny weeny dot on the globe, is the 8th richest country in the world! C'mon Singaporeans...be proud of urselves....
u hav no idea how lucky we are to be Singaporeans....the security, the safety, the cleanliness, the high standards of education, housing, service and many more....
Seriously, any Singaporean who isn't proud to be so probably doesn't deserve to be one too....

And no, I am not paid by anyone to say this....I've alwaiz felt this way.....and indeed, we need all Singaporeans to be genuinely proud of our nation and to believe in its vision and goals before we can continue to be a success in the many aspects in which we already are on the face of the globe....

Before I start sounding like I'm a candidate for some election, i think it's time for bed for me....
Jiayou ppl!

P.S: Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish -- Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple
(Singaporeans should adopt this attitude to avoid complacency and alwaiz on the lookout for improvements)

Be proud of being a Singaporean...
Be proud of ourselves...
