tis post is going to be dedicated to a fren, a junior of mine...so yah...the main portion of this post will be for her...
lemme juz leave the beginning part to some other stuff first...

hey girl, i dono if u r reading this....but i juz thot of dropping u some thots of mine...
hmmm, first, i admire ur maturity and discipline in setting goals for urself...at ur age, i was still happy-go-lucky all dae long and other than being not bad at soccer, i was onli good at infuriating my teachers, some of whom didn't like me cos i pulled down my triple sci's class's avg grade for certain subjects...
next, i admire even more ur determined attitude in going out to achieve those goals...from wat i see, and wat i have heard frm ur sis, u r putting in like 110% effort! dat's good....
ur prelims hav started and the main papers r commencing soon....i wanna wish u all the best in ur prelims and especially ur O'lvls...
wanna impart some advice to u and some of my personal experience....
Studying hard is important....but it's not the onli factor.....Studying smart is even more important....
It's good to know your facts well, but make sure u do enough of the ten year series to roughly predict what kinds of questions will appear....
When i was taking my Olvls, i was lagging real badly in everythg and with onli 1 mth to catch up the curriculum for 2yrs, i had to resort to studying smart and boy, i was glad i did dat....cos it was not onli more efficient but super-effective as well....
Nevertheless, do NOT follow wat i did in the same manner.....
follow ur own studying style now....but if u are not already doing so, try to predict the type of questions that might appear for some subjects....
Next, just be yourself before and during exams...if u hav studied for it, it will be fine...and i am sure u will do fine if u stay calm and composed....
During exams, it's the anxiety dat kills many....by remaining calm, u'll remember all the facts, formulae, mathematical techniques and tricks, etc...and u will be able to solve most problems that come ur way in a logical and rational manner....
okie, i don wan to sound so naggy...so i shall stop here...hahaz...
but again, i wanna wish u good luck and jiayou k! if u need support, i'm sure ur family, and esp ur sis will be there for u.....and u got my support too...all the way....
hang in there a couple of mths more...and then u can enjoy ur hols to the max oredi....
trust me, it'll be worth the hard work....
