Monday...


Picture of my bedroom....hahaz....I'm sharing room with Xiankan, a close fren of mine since JC daes...my JC class ppl shld noe! =)
look at the right strip of white over at the corner...the entire patch has been sealed with cement todae...finally! they'll be repainting the place soon....hehez....
look at the piece of fabric we hung in the middle of the room...hahaz....it's a Witch Zodiac thingy we bought from Salem in Masachusetts, finally got the chance to hang it up now that they've sealed the hole....cool huh!

yah...the white colour bedsheet is the mattress i sleep on and i sleep in my sleeping bag on my mattress everynite...sounds weird? no...hahaz...cos i feel so warm inside everynite i don need a quiltcover or blanket...not even in winter...hehez....
the study desks and our laptops and where we do our work on are on the right side of the picture...

feeling very motivated at work recently...
for one, my rapport with my American colleagues is getting better and better...hahaz, we now joke, crap, laugh and chat in between work, in between discussions and i can see the bonds forming, trust building and the camaraderie accumulating....
furthermore, i am here at the exact right time...i have to say this again....my company is growing exponentially that it is hiring a lot more ppl now....and i am in the midst of this exponential growth....it is SOOOOO exciting! and i am not exaggerating the scale of it....everydae i go to work hoping to help and contribute even more to its success and because it is an international business, i have this gut feeling that I will indeed be playing more important roles in time to come, and even beyond the 1yr period of this NOC program....
1 of the main reasons i indicated my interest in this company back in April was because of its international business, business-focused startup and also the chance to help develop their regional office in Asia or even in Singapore in future....
Thus, it is even more important that I prove myself worthy of such a possibility taking place in future, even in my final yr nxt yr before i graduate...i could help develop their business in yr4 while doing my fyp and managing the crazy timetable...

tonite i cooked again! i stir-fried vegetables and cooked char-siew chicken....tastes quite nice!
hahaz...i tink i will reali be quite a good cook by the time i return leh...hahaz....

daddy, mummy, sis, u all will be the first to try my cooking when i return to Singapore!

btw Iwan, fyi, I'm a yr 3 EE student from NUS, am on the NOC Programme and am here in US for 1yr...will be returning nxt yr....
