aniwaiz, i hit the gym alone in the morn at 7+.....did some cycling to warm up and den went on to my usual weights....

felt quite tired after dat....but nonetheless, i had to get on with the day as i had alot of admin issues to iron out todae....
For eg, i had to make sure i had all the documents which i needed to submit to the noc program director over here in biovalley....
then i had to settle the permanent housing thing for myself as well as my future other 8 housemates....
i oso had to settle temp housing for all 9 of us....
so if u ask me, it's not actually dat good to be one of the first to reach Philly....alot of work to do...

however, i'm happy to say dat i've settled the perm housing thingy oredi...hehez... =)
and it's oso good training lah....nxt time i might be better at house hunting in singapore....hahaz....

Aniwaiz, managed to talk to my parents and sis on the fone tis morning....the quality was good...crystal clear voice transmissions....hahaz, and we talked for quite long....almost an hr....
my sis was oredi asking me where to buy the cheap branded stuff....i can understand her excitement...cos i am too!

had a nice dinner tonite....a delicious sandwich,....tomatoes, lettuce, egg omelette with cheese....self-made!
hmm, im feeling super super tired now act....

************************************************************************************

there are some distinct differences between Singapore and USA....

for one, the driving here is left hand drive instead of right hand drive back in Sg....and so, even when i cross the road, i'll have to check for traffic on the opposite side compared to wat i do in singapore....

also, americans, even strangers, often smile to u and sometimes even say hi or more often they say things like 'Have a good day', 'how'd ya doing todae', 'see ya!'....
very very amicable ppl they are....approachable and alwaiz replying with a smile...
In singapore, it's less often that ppl smile at u so genuinely or strike up a short conversation with u.....well, so far, i tink americans r pretty much more polite than some of my local counterparts....
but then again, i shldn't generalise...cos i noe of as many singaporeans who are equally courteous ppl, if not more so....

thgs r slightly more expensive for most stuff here though.....the normal kind of contact lens multipurpose solution dat we get rather cheaply in singapore costs US$15 here even at the lowest priced grocer arnd....kauz! damn ex....i tink i will get my frens to buy a few bottles for me...otherwise i wun wear contacts so often oredi man....
as for food, it's interesting here cos they got alot of variety dat is sometimes less often found in sg supermarkets....
transport wise...it's very ex....i tink i've mentioned it before...us$1.30 for a single ride....

another thing is the sharp features of americans....many of them look reali good....both guys and gals....
even the babies and children look so picture perfect!
todae at the supermarket, there was tis toddler in the pram....her mum was talking to someone else...and she was making cute noises to try to get her mum's attention...
and tis toddler...perhaps arnd 3yrs old....looks gorgeous and cute!
well, when leaving the supermarket, i waved to her....but she nv smile at me leh.....hahaz...usually in sg, they will at least smile at me....but tis one didn't....
she was probably wondering y tis big gorgor looks so tanned....

hahaz...okie....i don wan to blog so much todae...tired oredi....
and XM, yah, thks for the reminder...i'll post the link to photoalbum nxt time instd....
thks Shelle, i'll rem the path to real adulthood still poses many new challenges....hehez....

sleepy sleepy sleepy.....shld sleep earlier tonite....tmr meeting my supervisor.....more tmr....
