Friday...

It's 21st April 2006, morning 9.27am. I woke up abt 50mins earlier and after washing up, I stirred my laptop out of hibernation mode.....
Well, i thought....since both my laptop and I are already up, and it's abt 8.50pm Philadelphia time, dinner shld hav been over in Philly....why not juz check my email? Perhaps there'll be some reply by my BV seniors or even better still, by Gean.....

Ohh, but it reali came as a pleasant surprise....I saw 2 emails....1 from my senior, and the other, frm Gean!!! Subject of email: NCBV, You've been accepted by PayQuik!

i was speechless for a moment....cos after the long wait....after the tormenting daes....i had thought any reply would perhaps onli come next week....well, Virtue of Patience + ee's transmitted luck do work! =)
See, i'm still pretty much at a loss for words now....i'm too happy....

it's finally here.....i've worked so hard for the last 2 yrs....although not all of it was for NOC....the first yr was generally for my career....but the second yr onwards, after i had been put thru the 2 rounds of interviews...yupz, that was reali hard work for NOC, i felt like a bull charging all semester...especially this semester...i felt totally like a full-time bull....

it's finally here.....i'm flying in July....date and flight not confirmed yet....I've replied Gean saying I'm accepting the offer...and the paperwork and preparations for VISA application will begin shortly....

it's finally here.....PayQuik, one of the companies which I told Gean I'll be interested to work in....and it's my onli interview so far....thanks to blessings, I've managed to ace it with my first and onli attempt.....at least, my hard work has been rewarded....

1 year in Philadelphia....1 year away from Singapore.....ohh well, i tink i'll wait till tonite or tmr before i try to articulate my feelings in a more rational and more organised manner....

it has taken 1 year for everything to materialise....I rem i sent in the application form sometime in april last yr, in 2005....and it is now, sometime in april, 2006, that i've cleared all 3 obstacles....3 interviews....3 tense periods...

okie, like wat i said, i'll wait till i get back my rational frame of mind before saying more...

for now, i guess i'll finally hav the mood to start studying....and try to get my A+s! i'm going to put up a strong fight....so those who tink they can walk over me easily...think again....i'll try my best with however much time i have left.....

A few persons I want to express my heartfelt thanks to.....who have been constantly here to encourage me...to drag me out of water when i felt like sinking....to boost my morale and confidence...and to juz show that they care.... My mum, my dad, my sis and Mingyi......thanks to all of them.... =)
