Prize presentation ceremony - Engineering Team

Sunday...

Today finally marks the end of the Canoe Polo Inter-Faculty Games (IFG).....Engineering (us) did not manage to defend our title....we lost in the semi-finals, but salvaged some pride by winning the 3rd/4th placing and got the bronze medal...
Anyhow, the semi-final match against Business was a very good fight....because out of the 5 players, they fielded 4 IVP players (engin onli had 1), and one of them is even a foreign import lor....i dono his name but he's an exchange student and he's a Hungarian National team player!

We fought hard and onli lost after 30mins of normal and extra time....we lost in the penalty shoot-out....It was tough luck to lose i guess, cos we were leading 2-1 with onli 1:30mins to go in the second half....but i guess we had oredi tried our best....
I had a shot blocked by the Hungarian player....who was goalkeeping at that time....juz found it almost impossible to get past him...

Aniwaiz, the credit has to go to my teammates....especially the team captain, Edwin....they r juz damn power lor.....hahaz, i contributed minimally, maybe i contributed most to the talking and interacting....but when it came to actual play, they did the most work....

Overall, the IFG's standard was much higher than i had expected...i guess it's cos many of the IVP players played for their faculties, so sometimes it seemed more like a school team match....but it was fun on the whole, and I made many new friends along with Bro Khoon...
Yida, an IVP player frm EE too, was 1 of the new frens i made...he's such a nice guy....alwaiz smiling, encouraging us and helped us in a couple of our victories....
Many more....but too much to mention....

One of the matches -- the goalpost is the big rectangle up there, 5 players a side, unlimited substitutions....those r the basic rules.....not an easy sport....

Now I need to focus on my work oredi....reali lagging far too much....Icy was saying that I at least could enjoy my term break with ktv, competition and gatherings with frens....but well, i guess that's wat most ppl see.....
In fact, wat most ppl don't see is the time we spent on our project, slogging our guts and brains out, while at the same time neglecting our other modules....which is beginning to be a real matter of concern for us, even Changsheng....

Nevertheless, i'm going to force myself to reali study oredi lor....no more time for procrastination, neither is there time for complaining, grumbling....kbing.....well, i'll still complain once in awhile, but that is juz to relieve stress...hahaz, talking and complaining and gossiping can reali help to relieve stress sometimes.....
But at the same time, i'm going to get work done....

Junming jioed me to go singing yest...but i couldn't....well, i feel like going again this weekend....(after clearing whatever work i have assigned to myself).....anyone interested?
hahaz, otherwise, i'll tink abt who to ask to go with..... =)

alright, time to start work i guess.....my aching body's begging for some rest, but my mind's quite fresh now....so i'm going to chiong.....yay!
