At the base of Clingsman Dome, just before we start our trail up...the highest peak in Great Smoky Mountains National Park...



Ramsey Cascades Waterfall. The highest and most exciting waterfall in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The toughest to see also. We hiked a total of 8 miles to see it...took 4.5hrs to climb up the trail and come down....totally shagged after that!



hmmm, dono wat to type in today's post...
it has juz been a simple dae...i tried to get 8hrs of sleep to make up for my lack of sleep during the week...
den spent the day reading my emails, reading news, reading tech blogs, reading some business related sites...etc etc...did project in the aftn, den went out to chinatown to buy groceries with 5 other frens and hav dinner...

was looking thru some of the fotos and videos we took during the trip last week...
it's so time consuming! organizing them, getting those from frens' cameras, browsing thru them, deciding which to upload, converting some file formats etc etc....
i shld probably come up with an integrated solution huh....

An entrepreneurship opportunity here...hmmm, let's see....
wat do we need?
The problem I am facing is the time and hassle needed to do all of the above and more...
So, naturally, the solution should alleviate the individual of all that....which essentially means...SAVING TIME and EFFORT....
an integrated solution is the key...but in wat form? A platform? A software? An intelligent management system?
Think abt it....
maybe I will too.....
there are too many ideas....too many opportunities...i'll juz keep this in view first....

recently, i had this reali exciting idea that will revolutionize the world....trust me, i'm not exaggerating...
at the beginning, it seemed impossible....but when i thought deeper into the physics of things....i roughly conceptualized a solution for it...
and when i delved deeper....i was able to come up with a very rough idea on how the solution might possibly look like....
and I went online to do some research....and discovered that a group of MIT professors have almost exactly the same idea as I had....99% similar, even the solution!
and the best thing is that they just published their news on BBC 2 wks ago....
but of cos....i can't compare to them lah....they r MIT professors lor...and they hav all the computer models and maths to support their claims...
but i'm so excited cos it means that it is possible!
and the solution which i thot of is conceptually the same as their hypothesis....
i was even starting to consider doing it for my FYP next year....

hmmm, i'll elaborate more on the idea in time to come perhaps....
for now, there are some short video clips for u to view...i chose them out of the many my frens and i took....
more when i return nxt yr....watch from my laptop...

it's sunday tmr...i'm feeling so so lazy....i don wanna do anythg at all...
i shld rest le...
and many of my frens will hav their hols soon in singapore....holiday holiday....i'm kinda envious now....hahaz...
there's no real holiday for me here...cos of work and other commitments...
but i'm not complaining....juz grumbling abit...hahaz...
