Wednesday...
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Well, it's 10mins more to Thanksgiving, one of the most favourite American holidays....
it falls on 23rd and 24th of Nov, and this year, it'll be tomorrow and Friday...
and so, tomorrow, I will fly off to Tennessee, the first state we'll touch down in for our 5days Thanksgiving holiday...
More about that in the next few days...I will most probably update my blog too cos I'm bringing my laptop along for this trip...

Felt a little 'off' this morning, but thanks to a couple of my close friends, i felt alot better after that....
thanks thanks...you know who you are.... =)
It was an extremely busy day, which was not bad....cos I got involved in some systems testing...
ohh well, shldn't talk about work now...hahaz...
and I finally finished 2 of my scheduled work which have deadlines on 29th and 30th of Nov, next week...so it's a big load off my mind....hehez...yay!
I have an exam next Thurs though...and I will have to study for it after i return from this trip...
In the meantime, I am just going to enjoy myself.... =p
And i will..hehez....so exciting....everytime I think of exploring some new states in vast US....

The weather here can be really frightening....Well, I haven't mentioned about the weather much in all my blog posts, but let me just mention it briefly here....
the winds are always so extremely strong, and it doesn't help that the temperature outside is between 0 to 5 degrees....and according to weather forecasts, next Tuesday might probably be the first day in this year when we will see snowflakes....snow! woohoo!
Anyway, I attended the first Toastmaster session tonight alone...
It was a good experience...I even volunteered to go up to give an impromptu speech cos they were asking for volunteers....after all, I am there to improve my public speaking skills, which I think are SOOOOO important for all aspects of life....
In the case of entrepreneurship alone, an entrepreneur needs to be a very effective and confident speaker in order to be able to pitch his idea to VCs, investors as well as sell his products/services to clients....
In life, an eloquent and convincing speaker is so often more successful than his counterpart who has great ideas and technical skills but poor in expressing himself....
There are so many other aspects and I'm sure anyone can easily think of some....
Well, the networking following the session was good too, I talked to almost all of those who were present and I think I will continue going, and sign up as a member so that I can give prepared speeches....
and eventually get the various levels of certification....
Yupz, and so despite the grumbles about overloading myself with commitments to some of my friends, here I am, heaping one more onto my shoulders...
Hmmm, I would say that this will be a very worthwhile investment of my time and energy, and so it will be well worth the effort....
Hmm, I'm not sure what else I wanna say, there is alot but i guess I will tell them to some ppl onli....
for now, my brain is pretty tired and i juz wanna relax till i hit the sheets...no more work tonight!
Btw, I got my Wharton module for next sem! woohoo! =p
The season to care and share...
