Thursday...

juz wan to post a short post on the HappyHour for PayQuik tonite!
i rushed down after school....and it was an AWESOME evening!
a few quick fotos....
after my first glass of Yuengling (a beer), i took 2 more martinis....super nice!

Our HR guy (Matt) and me...we r very close buddies at work cos we sit opp each other and boy, we reali make the entire office a much more fun place to be working at! sadly, tmr's his last dae....i'll miss him....
Great guys! On the right is my direct supervisor, our Media and Production manager, oso the one who phone interviewed me during the NOC company interview process back in april...he's pretty handsome and is a COOL guy! reali my blessing to hav such a mentor....
and in the middle, Jack, one of the IT guys i'm pretty close to.....hahaz, actually i'm pretty close with almost everyone in the office....but well, i'll show the fotos nxt time....

I remember that I promised i wun get drunk again....and so I controlled my drinking....
the martinis were great but i managed to restrict my drinking....
tonite was a great nite....but an impt lesson i've learnt so far on this program is dat alcoholic drinks r reali impt during business related events....and i personally call them the 'Lubricant of networking'....
cos when one drinks a little, one will start loosening up and then start to be able to discuss issues more liberally...

i had a great opportunity to get closer to some of my colleagues and we had alot of fun luffing and talking and juz crapping....they r reali cool ppl and i am still feeling very fortunate to get this company for my NOC internship...
however, the main reason y i feel fortunate and am glad i indicated that i wanted this company is cos....

it's cos of the potential of this company....i had a reali good talk with my CFO juz now and some other colleagues towards the end of the happy hour and boy....i got so much info abt his background, abt my colleagues's thots....abt the vision for our company, abt the upcoming deals, abt future plans....and they look REALI good....much as i had envisioned them to be back in April....
and i am part of the plans too...which is one of the reason which excites and motivates me to go to work everydae!

well, i am hoping that i will be able to contribute as much as i can and even beyond in the time to come....i wun elaborate on wat was being discussed during our conversation juz now cos it can get reali lengthy....but trust me...
i AM in the right place....PayQuik rocks!
