Sunday...

much has happened tis few daes....yet i haven't had the energy nor time to write about them...
so i'll briefly talk abt some now as i hav larger issues i might wan to address....

after work on friday, i went to my ABPIS fren's house for dinner....he invited some of us to his condominium and offered to cook for us....simply put, the dinner was AWESOME!
- Nachos with melted cheese, sour cream and tender beef in sloppy joe's gravy....yummy!
- Chicken katsu (japanese curry) with rice and scallion garnishing...
- Black pepper king crabs! this was the ultimate delicacy! Irresistable!!!

Aniwaiz, after the sumptuous dinner, i came back for a BBQ organized by my noc frens....juz down the road...and had a great time before returning home at 1+am...tired but happy....
Sat was pretty much spent at home discussing serious stuff with my fren but i had a great time at nite too, playing games at my fren's place after attending a mooncake festival thingy organized by some clubs in UPenn....

ohh well, i don wanna talk too much abt my daily stuff...sometimes it juz gets boring, even for myself....

every time i receive a card or some parcel, i am so excited and when i read what's written inside, it juz makes me feel so warm and grateful....

makes me miss singapore and u all even more!

Wl, i totally concur with u....that is the existing perception of many employers in Singapore...
i guess dat's 1 of the main reasons why the govt is encouraging students and graduates to venture out to the world....there is a myriad of reasons but 1 of them is perhaps to expose Singaporeans to the outside world so that they can better appreciate the kind of comfortable environment they have back home....
This is not sth which can be changed overnite or in the short run, it will require a concerted effort in educating the next generation and even our own and to push for more Singaporeans to be exposed to different cultures as the world is increasingly globalized.....

we all have a duty to do dat...and push for Singapore's continued success....
if we don't help ourselves, who will?
