Saturday...

it has been many daes since i last updated my blog...
alot has happened in these few daes...and i have been far too busy to make any updates.....
lemme juz run through my train of thots briefly here...

Thursday was the dae the PITCH event which I'm part of the exco was held...all our months of hard work, sweat, arguments, discussions, etc etc culminated into a successful event here....
Those in NUS, wait for the news, video and photos of this event to be shown in the NUS Enterprise marketing materials soon....We, those in the Exco, have seriously done a great job....well, i won't elaborate on that....it's something i hold close to my heart....
At the competition itself, what inspired me was the presence of our distinguished panel of judges....amongst them especially Josh Kopelman who is someone I respect and admire alot.....
At 35, he is a multi-millionaire and is the MD/CEO of a venture capital firm here....
FYI, he was the founder of half.com, which has since been acquired by ebay....that was his exit strategy....and guess how much he sold half.com to ebay for? Anyone knows?
Yes, if u guessed US$300+ million, you are pretty near the correct answer.....
At the age of 25 (i tink), while in wharton, he oredi started his own business, and at the age of 27, his first IPO...dat is simply amazing!
I wanna emulate his success....he really motivates me.....and i got to take a photo with him!
it's like even better than seeing celebrities like actors or actresses! I was standing beside a living example of a successful entrepreneur, a true blue one, and someone i respect so much....

Last night, the Exco, together with our NCBV Program Director, had a post-event meeting/review/evaluation and we poured out our hearts, what we have felt all along, what we think need to be changed and so on...
it was a good exchange of thots and ideas....
like i said to them, i bring away with me not onli lessons in life but also fond memories....
these few mths of hard work have built a special place in my memories.....

And we had a nice dinner at a restaurant last nite after the meeting, which dragged till 10+....hehez....it was fun...
there was a very pretty waitress whom was serving us....she's American....and for some reason which i have no idea of (it juz had to be me again), they dared me to go get her cellphone number and if i get it successfully, i get to win $10....hahaz....
but after awhile, they thot it was too easy for me and so they changed it from cellphone number to her vital statistics instead.....
hmmmm, this was abit tougher....but i went aniwaiz....not before some thinking and strategising...
and guess wat? i got them from her! woohoo! great figure she has.....hahaz....

the best thing is dat when we left, and after she took a group photo for all of us, i took one with her too....hahaz...and she stunned me by giving me a kiss.....whoa....i was seriously stunned....hahaz, i haven't gotten the pics from my fren yet but i tink i might have looked stunned in dat foto....

well, i have had to face a dilemna this past week regarding my focus here....and how to allocate my time between all my various commitments....
i finally decided, i followed my parents' advice.....thks daddy and mummy....
i gave it alot of thought and turned my friend down yesterday to be their technological implementor....

I have for myself more than enough commitments already and in a basket of diverse types of them....
Work has provided me much food for thought and I decided I want to give more of my energy to work too....

I believe I have made a right decision and with the benefit of hindsight in future, I will know how right the decision is....

Wait for me, my dear family and frens in Singapore...
I will bring glory and honour back home with my when I return....with my big plans in the pipeline....which i am keeping to myself and a selected few for now....

P.S: Photos later!

The sky's the limit...
I WILL return with glory...
