todae's the 5th anniversary of the Sep 11th terrorist attacks on the twin towers in World Trade Center, New York...
while it may not be as big a thing in Singapore, it certainly is a BIG thing in the US....
US President Bush visited Ground Zero with the first lady, and i caught on ABC news the footage as well as his speech to American citizens....

5yrs past, and while watching the news, i could feel the chilling sense of sadness and pain sear through me for a brief moment as i imagined the fear and darkness of the victims who faced desperation, impending doom and an unreadiness to depart this world...
hopefully, nuttin like this will ever happen again...
if there's something which this world needs, top of the list will be peace....

A shocking revelation on security here was revealed on tv just now....
some television crew tried to buy 1000pounds of ammonium nitrate from a few suppliers in a span of 3-4 daes and were able to get it...and worse still, they transported it and successfully stored it at a warehouse a few miles away from the White House....
well....i reali wonder what the security barriers have been doing....
according to the newscaster, 1000 pounds of ammonium nitrate is sufficient to blow up a small building....
well...Peace, peace and peace....pls....human beings shldn't inflict hurt and harm each other!

my housemates and i hav arranged to hav a family dinner this thursday....we are going to cook and hav dinner tog!
and so we had to choose a dish to cook each....hahaz...
guess wat i chose???

i chose one of my fav foods.....sweet and sour chicken!
well...i've never tried cooking it before....but hahaz...i hope it wun turn out too bad..... =p
i'm going to chinatown tmr evening to do the shopping....yay!
wanna be a good chef by the time i return nxt yr.....hehez....

monday sometimes feel sucky after a nice weekend....but still....look forward with a positive attitude....
thgs will get better and the week will soon pass...
but we all want our lives to pass by meaningfully right?
