Thursday...

hooray! tmr's Friday...which means the weekend's coming!
woohoo!

Time reali reali reali flies...at the end of this week, i'd have been....
1) in Philadelphia for 1mth oredi!
2) working for 3 weeks oredi!

amazing...and to tink dat it juz felt like yesterday dat i was celebrating the last paper of yr 2 sem 2....hahaz,,i still rem it's EE2005 i tink...circuits kinda mod, one of my favourites in EE...
well, dat nite was the first time we had a kinda large gathering with girls...i mean...for zhiwei, changsheng, jiarong, junhui and i....usually it's juz the 5 of us...
dat was the first time elysia, meijia and tingting joined us....
i still rem the west coast park bbq too....

and alot more fond memories of everythg else dat took place from may all the way to july...
all the gatherings with different groups of frens...all the meetings, all the movies, shopping, eating, drinking...
these memories juz make me miss singapore even more...

soon, my dear frens in nus, ntu and smu are going back to school already...
take care all of u....be good boys and good girls and not only study hard but play hard too....dat shld be the way to live....
study hard cos dat's the main priority of being in university...get the good grades...grab the A+s or As!
play harder cos sch life is the best time to enjoy and make frens (and bgr too =p)
dat way, it'll be hard for u not to be able to enjoy life to the fullest..... (",)

talkin abt sch, i miss studying at Yishun Burger King....
as most of my frens shld noe, i study there almost during every exam period...sometimes i see familiar faces who appear during the same times...it's such a nice place to juz sit and study the whole aftn...
i'll def miss it when i study for exams at Upenn...

i also miss the homely feeling....the wonderful feeling of being at home with my family...
i miss the slanted chair which my mum bought but was utilised mostly by me... =p
i miss my scv shows...especially those on channel 55, which i watch like 4-5hrs a dae...hahaz...
i miss the altar, where i offer incense sticks regularly....
i miss the sofa, where i sometimes will lie down on to watch tv...
i miss my bed, my pillow, my bolster and the eeyore which has been on my bed for half a yr...hahaz...
i miss the loads of snacks and biscuits dat my mum alwaiz stocks up in case we r hungry...
i miss my chinup bar....where i could effortlessly do 16 before i flew... (now, shld be at most 14)...
tis list can be endless...hahaz...

i shld set a theme huh....okie...
tmr's theme will be "People I miss".....and followed by maybe "Food I miss"....etc etc....
hahaz...okie...den i can be reminded of the nice food at the same time.... =p

yah Shelle, u r right...i've been pretty weak ever since i reached here...maybe i hav problems acclimatising...the weather has been pretty bad....
my dad and frens have been telling me the temp here can reach as high as 43deg....can u imagine dat?
wat's the highest in sg dat we've experienced? 34? at most 35? i doubt so...
the weather forecaster todae announced that the heatwave is expected to subside slightly tmr cos of a cold front approaching...hopefully so...
cos i haven't even had a flu in a yr or more oredi...

it was nice to be able to talk to both XM and Elysia last nite...hahaz...the wonders of technology....i juz got to emphasise it again...hahaz...
it was the first time talking to elysia since i reached here and as usual, the conversation was a funny and highly interesting one...hahaz...ohh well, some sharing of news and a little, juz a little of gossiping =p

i took ur advice and put my water bottle beside my mattress XM...it def helped, cos i drank a few times last nite...it's sth which is pretty common sense and i wonder y i did not tink of it myself...hahaz...
but reali, thks and let's see when we can chat again ah...

tis morning, i deliberately woke up at 6.30 and talked to my parents at 7+...nice chat...hehez...i tink i'm such a homely person...i feel like calling home and seeing my family so often compared to the rest...
maybe it's a good thing dat i'm unattached now...cos otherwise, i'd hav to balance my time bet the 2, which as i've experienced before, can get rather stressful...

lunch was expensive todae...
my colleagues all went out to eat tog, so i couldn't say 'no' and be the queer fish...
so i joined...we drove to this asian restaurant called sangkee...and i had tis bowl of roast duck noodles...hahaz...
i chose hor fun as the 'noodle' cos very long nv eat oredi mah...
$7 leh...hahaz...considered very ex cos i've been saving here and there....but then, i totally enjoyed it because it was a good chance to build up the camaraderie and rapport bet my colleagues and i...
and i managed to improve on dat over lunch todae....heheh....i'm getting into their clique....slowly but surely...hahaz... =)

i received an invitation from the Singapore Embassy to attend this reception thingy in late aug for Singapore's National Day...i wonder y it's in late aug but i got invitied probably cos i registered with MFA before i left Singapore....it's in New York....i wan to attend it real badly...
it'll be a good chance to network as well as to meet up with fellow Singaporeans...

okie...tis has been a very long post...
