Sunday...

Back from Lancaster County!
We visited so many places in these 2 daes and it was fun....we have been immersed in the Amish and Mennonites culture...
lemme briefly talk abt wat i've done these 2 daes....more in-depth talk, i'll talk to my fam and frens abt it....

When we arrived at Lancaster yesterday, we had a very sumptuous buffet lunch at this place called the Bird-in-Hand restaurant...
the food was reali good...and well...todae i had another buffet again...so yah...if i continue at tis rate...i'll definitely put on weight...hahaz...

aniwaiz, after dat, we checked into Verdant View, the place where we stayed for the nite...very comfortable place...
and then we drove arnd and ended up at this Mennonite Info Center and had a free movie telling us abt the history of the Amish and Mennonites...
at nite, we went to take a Ghost Tour....woohoo....

I'll talk more abt the Amish and Mennonites later on....it's a very interesting culture and rich history...

Todae....
we milked cows todae...it was my first time...hahaz....and then we went to feed baby calves after dat...
lemme juz insert a foto of the farm and cows here...

Then, we went to take a buggy ride...hahaz...it was a cart dat we sat on...and pulled by 2 horses....it was a very interesting ride and we got to learn more abt the place frm our guide...

After that, we went to this Amish Farm & House guided tour place...it was fantastic...i reali learnt alot abt the Amish culture here...went to their houses and shops...
next, another buffet...
and then, went to Hershey Chocolate World!
hahaz...more later...

I like tis very much...let tis be an encouragement to whoever reads tis...whoever u are, however smart u are....it doesn't matter....
Taken at the One-SchoolHouse at the Amish Village....

don wanna bore myself and everyone with my itinerary...
I'm pretty interested in the Amish culture thingy....i mean, i've never even heard abt this people before...or their culture...it's reali an eye-opener for me....

Centuries ago, this group of christians broke off from the main Christian group and called themselves the Anabaptists at the time of Reformation...
William Penn invited them to America and they settled down at Germantown....
Later on, someone called Jacob Amman wanted to break away from the group because he wanted themselves to be closer to nature and not to become so modernised....The other group were known as the Mennonites...they are much more modern and well...i can't possibly say everythg here...too much to type....too much, too rich in history...
For those interested...can read up here...
http://www.800padutch.com/amish.shtml

I'll tell to those who r interested more abt it....wow...travelling is reali great....broaden ur horizons....widen ur perspectives...

will upload the fotos later on once i get everythg...

i'm tired now...and wow...still amazed abt the new culture....
talk more to u all later...

Amish, and the Mennonites...
I tink i wanna bring my family & frens there...
U'll love the farm-stay and all the new culture...
