tomorrow (Singapore time) is our dear nation's 41st birthday oredi....
Happy birthday to you, Singapore, in advance!!!

I wish i can be back there watching the fireworks, basking in the excitement and buzz of all Singaporeans as I've done so every year....
Not at the stadium or padang, but juz simply being in the heart of everything...in town, and last yr at the Yishun field 300m frm my house...the fireworks, the stages, the concerts...
I muz say that Singapore has done a very good job in bonding everyone together through the national day celebrations....
and being in America now, i muz say dat i am indeed very very proud to be a Singaporean...

Last yr was one of the best celebrations islandwide....if everyone remembers, they had other 4 major destinations on top of the celebrations at the stadium....and Yishun was one of them....we had concerts and fireworks there...
I remember the songs....there was this by Taufik and erm....shux...wat's her name....juz slipped my mind...

stupid Changsheng tried to make me jealous by msging me at 2+am singapore time dat they are going to hav a gathering on national day to watch fireworks and go max brenner choc bar...
hahaz....idiot leh....MJ told me she was the organiser....
yah....he got his wish....
i am indeed jealous =p but i'm reali happy that they r meeting up again....

before i flew, i had oredi asked Elysia and ZW to organise bigger clique outings if possible to keep the bonds there, so that when i return nxt yr, everythg will still be the same...
yah...enjoy urselves leh...take fotos and send them to me....idiots....hahahaz....

We NOC'ians have our own Singaporean gathering here oso lor....tentatively we r going to a pub here...it's called Smokey Joe, a PENN favourite apparently...hahaz....1 of my seniors organising...

well...Singapore...when one is away from the country, one will feel even more for it...
i guess it's natural but over here, i've heard strangers and new frens praising our dear little island we call our home...and it reali makes me feel elated...and beam with pride....

tis wkend, I'll be going to this Lancaster Village...5 of us confirmed oredi...we'll be driving up....
it's going to be a farmstay weekend! hooray!
horseriding, cow milking, cave explorations, their local village market, Hershey Farm, where the original factories and shops are from! and alot more...

hahaz, i'm the itinerary planner for tis trip...so yupz, research time is here!
aniwaiz, we'll be staying overnite at the farm on sat....so....hehez....alright...lemme plan first...

hmm, a short note which is rather irrelevant here, i feel like chionging for my first class honours instd of sitting back and resting on my cap which i've fought so hard for now...a senior pumped up the fire in me again todae...
all i need is an A in the startup business case tis yr, and i'll be nicely on course for dat...shldn't be too hard...
yr 4 will be the time i clinch my first class honours....
nuttin can stop me...
