Tuesday...
had a family gathering tonite as mentioned in the previous post...
13 of us tonite...3 families....
we went to tis small chinese restaurant in Yishun to hav dinner.....and occupied 2 tables....
Adults and children....
hahaz....i used to sit at the children table...but tonite, i was asked to sit tog with the adults... =p
My uncle and both aunts gave me red packets....quite alot of money some more....i felt a little paiseh....
When we left, i felt an even stronger feeling dat i wanna do well and take care of myself so dat they won't worry abt me....and nxt time i can help take care of them oso....when i start earning money...
i'll miss them for the Chinese New Yr in 2007....cos every CNY, our families will celebrate it tog by having a chalet or hotel stay....hehez....

the restriction on smoking at public places started last sat....
which is good....
ever since it was announced earli last yr....i was oredi looking forward to 1st Jul 2006...
cos the second hand smoke at public places reali is irritating and damaging....
in case anyone doesn't noe....the restrictions will be further extended from 1st Jul 2007 instead.....
i'm not sure abt the restrictions though....
smokers jeopardize their own health....
those who sit near them r subjected to the harm their second hand smoke inflicts on them....
smoking reali shld be phased out...shld be banned.....not abruptly but gradually....
hopefully, someday the smokers will get the wakeup call....and put away their cigarettes for good...
till then, pls avoid second smoke for ur own good....
