Monday...

very tired now again...
juz came back from a major gathering tis evening tonite...there were at least 15 of us having dinner together....whoo...had fun.... =)

tmr's going to be a long day again, Dr Lily Chan will be visiting us tomorrow....she is the second in hierarchy in NUS and is the CEO of the NUS Enterprise....well, it's considered a very important visit for us NOC ppl....hmmm, she's holding a dialogue session specially for us but i've yet to prepare for it....i doubt many others have as well....but i had planned to go read up her biography first...so dat i can ask more suitable questions...well, i'll be more flexible tomorrow =)

today at work, i kinda made a breakthrough of sorts....and it came earlier than i had expected....
tasked to do some marketing stuff and asked to tink of how to create and maintain a level of awareness amongst clients, i brainstormed and thot of an idea...
Today, the VP for business development happened to be in (which is rare), and so, i organised my thoughts, took my pen and precious notebook, took a deep breath and walked confidently towards his office....
i tried to sell my idea to him and although the discussion was a brief one (he's extremely busy), he gave me some suggestions and told me that I can consider starting something from wat we have discussed to be a long-term project for myself.... =) dat's exciting news for me....coming from the VP....

the noc ppl here work and play very hard....i am beginning to feel it myself.....i AM playing hard, but at the same time, i'm glad i'm disciplined enuff to work EVEN harder.....
i do wat i have to do....and so far, i have no problem with self-discipline....
the last 2 working days, i've exited MSN the moment i switched on my pc....in a bid to let myself concentrate fully on work....
I must say that it does work...cos now i'm pretty much focused on work....so well, i'm afraid msn will have to make way permanently at work....and onli return when i'm outside of office and not doing any work....

okie....i am far too sleepy oredi....cant elaborate abt yest's dae...
