Tuesday...

Pretty Karen, Tanned me, Cute Kenny and Macho Janus...hahaz....

yes Xiaomei....everydae outing reali very tiring... i feel like a zombie now...hahaz....before i talk abt todae's outing.....i muz say dat i reali feel tired now.....tmr i'm juz going swimming and meet Kenny to get the Da Vinci Code book....after asking so many ppl, i've finally found someone who has the book...he has the special edition one some more, woohoo! cos i have been wanting to read the whole story before watching the movie....

yupz.....todae i had my MNO outing which i had been so eagerly looking forward to.....
MNO1001....Management and Organisation.....a level 1 business module.....my first biz module in NUS....and to date, definitely, without any doubt, without any need for hesitation....the best module i've ever taken...

i took it in Yr 2 Sem 1.....it was sth arranged by fate...definitely it was...cos it was recommended to me by Xian's ex-gf...who's a biz student....well, thereafter, cos the bid pts were too high in round 1, i changed my plans and bidded for a SS instead.....well, through some interesting twist of fate, i got it again in round 3a.....
I had initially arranged to take it tog with either Zhiwei and Changsheng or Jingting and co.....for the former pair, we juz acquainted then....and i can't reali rem, but eventually, i got the same tutorial class as Jingting and co....

well, to cut a long story short, the proj groups were randomly arranged....and on tutorial 1, i met up with my grp members....note the use of the word 'group' here.....
They were Kenny, Andrew, Janus, Jane, Karen and me.....ohh well, 6 of us....
Taking MNO1001 in sem 1 of any academic yr is definitely the right choice cos the project is that of a video filming...i wun go into the details but well, it was ultra lotz of fun and strangely enuff, i can't reali explain y myself too....i was so drawn into it....so drawn into my group which evolved into a team (note my use of 'team' here)....so drawn into this module.....everything abt it....

we had so much fun shooting the video and doing the entire proj....and encouraged each other on....from strangers to acquaintances to proj mates.....most other students stopped at tis phase....for my special MNO team, we moved on, and now we're very very close frens.....my bros and sis.....
Andrew & Jane have since drifted from us since last dec..and the core comprises Kenny, Janus, Karen and I..

although we did not get the best result for the video, 3 out of 6 of us did very well....Andrew and Janus both got A while luckier me got A+......i hav to attribute it partly to the passion amongst other factors...

so, well todae, our outing was as usual the 4 of us....whom i reali adore and cherish.....again, they are....
Kenny, Janus, Karen (Olive) and I (Donkey)....hahaz....i wouldn't explain the nicknames again....those interested can go back to my Oct post....

i tell u....they r the best teammates i've ever done a project with in my entire life! yes, dat's not an exaggeration....cos i take into consideration the fact dat we were all strangers....and even though MNO wasn't a core module for Janus and I, and all 4 of us were from different facs.....our bonds and relationship is truly dat of a genuine friendship, a very strong one at dat.....I can say with much confidence dat other than us, perhaps no other group from the same batch of MNO students r as cohesive as us now.....
Further, after graduating from the module last yr, we almost had no more common links except for msn.....Contrary to most ppl, we kept in constant contact, we took the trouble to ask abt each other, to see if everyone's coping fine....to organise outings....to take care of each other....encourage each other....
well, Janus and I took the lead as we r the more senior ones....but Kenny and Olive hav reciprocrated with the same amt of care and concern too.....

dat is wat i call friendship.....

of cos, another team i've had worked with which is on par with my MNO team is my StarTeam....and oso my DreamTeam which i formed last Dec....but well, those r for another dae.....the top 3 in my academic career thus far....

I'm reali very impressed and at the same time, I feel very grateful to hav known Kenny, Janus and Olive....they hav brought abt another perspective to my way of making frens.....they hav strengthened my faith in making frens frm projects when most other ppl simply went thru the motion of completing their projects....they hav touched me with their encouragement and concern time after time......
although they alwaiz suan me, alwaiz tease me, alwaiz make fun of me like nobody's business, alwaiz calling me Donkey, alwaiz making me the target of 'racial' abuse....hahaz, they r reali wonderful ppl.....
they form a part of my memory, a special part of it....a story which i have been telling alot of ppl.....because i'm so proud of them....and us.....

if anyone of them reads tis, they r bound to say....'tis Jinfa....getting all emotional again....ohh, he's going to start his speeches again....or well, he's coming at it again....'....

alright, i can go on and on and on till tmr.....but i can't help it....it's so motivational....so inspiritional to myself dat it is deeply etched in my mind....so deeply rooted in me.....

hahaz, okie, better stop myself before i blabber on.....i will still continue telling frens abt tis wonderful module, tis wonderful project, tis wonderful team which i hav.....and show anyone who is interested our video from that project....


aniwaiz, we had a 4hr KTV session at Orchard Partyworld todae....wah, my third time in a week....damn tiring leh...feeling a little tired of ktv oredi....hahaz.....well, we had a lot of fun singing lor....the last time we went tog was last Oct to celebrate the completion of our project as well as Olive's bdae.....hahaz, yah, i'm so used to calling her Olive instead of her real name oredi....
Thereafter, it was raining cats and dogs but we managed to get to Suntec in Janus's spanking new Peugeot....hahaz, i had been wanting to try his car for ages...and it sure felt comfortable in the passenger's seat.....yah....we went to Carl's Junior at Suntec....kauz...the servings were reali huge....as wat the papers say....
we chatted and then went on to walk arnd awhile before we came home.....

i'd love to meet up with them again before i fly......

i got their postal addresses todae....the first ppl i'm getting frm.....well, i haven't mentioned tis before....but i had planned to get the postal addresses of some closer frens, or well, no need to be close frens.....
i had planned to get from frens which i tink i might snail mail to occasionally....like sending dat occasional postcard from a city i visit or sth.....or maybe a small gift or souvenir....to these frens....

haven't reali decided who else to get frm....but if (any of u who is reading tis) gets the request frm me to hav ur postal address....pls kindly give me k? cos i'm very sincere in wanting it and oso to keep in touch....
although in tis Internet age...we hav emails and msn and all dat....i sometimes still prefer the traditional snail mail when it matters...cos there's the personal touch and it juz feels different....

alright....i tink i'll end off here....got alot to say....but maybe mention in another post....
