So, wat's the agenda todae? Nothing specific....juz another usual blog post....blogging helps me relax....cos it's akin to talking...and my dear frens shld noe dat i'm a very talkative person...so during tis period of exam time when i'm being forced to be 'autistic', my blog is an avenue where i can 'talk'.....

yah, watever man....i oso dono wat i'm talking abt.....

aniwaiz, olive smsed me again juz now....hahaz, i keep calling her olive, it's been like 10mths.....will i one dae call her Olive instead of Karen if i have to introduce her to frens or any other situations? well, nvm lah, i'm being called Donkey too...so we're quits.....
anyhow, i reali appreciate little actions or smses or messages frm frens.....even though her paper ended yest and shld be happily enjoying herself and forgetting anythg related to academic matters, dat sms helped to lift the spirits of a fren, momentarily, if not for long.....
dat's the difference between frens and acquaintances i guess.......and dat's the difference in treatment i adminster to different people in my life.....either fiercely loyal to the former or well, ordinary to the latter....

as usual, i had no mood to study again....i'm suffering, or rather, i've been suffering from a brain power deficit...how to operate a machine without electricity, how to run a car without petrol....similarly, how can a brain operate without its fuel.......i'm low on endorphins and high on cortisols......bio-inclined ppl shld noe their meaning....
nevertheless, i kind of forced myself to read the lecture notes.....Op-Amp amplifiers, Diodes, Zener, BJTs, MOSFETS, current mirrors, special biasing circuits, etc etc etc......
Circuits-related topics are usually my favourite in EE's field....but tis time round, interest has fallen prey to fatigue....
Nevermind....endure, endure, endure....

Yesterday, i came across tis article in Today.....the title exclaimed....'Engineers...fast becoming an endangered species'... i read the article and in summary, tis is wat it says....

because of globalisation....well, there are many consequences and many changes the Singapore economy must make to ensure that we continue to stay at the helm in terms of economic competitiveness...etc.....and our economy is moving towards one in which we'll be more reliant on providing value-added services as well as high-end manufacturing.....as a result, there'll be restructuring....
And there'll be some retrenchment here and there IF ppl do not retrain and upgrade themselves to be able to suit our 'new' economy.....well, 1 of the reasons of lack of engineers is cos singaporeans are getting less interested in tis field of study....hahaz, i can understand y oso....it's so XIONG!
well, i shld probably celebrate tis fact with my EE bros cos we'll certainly be in high demand after we graduate....but the last part of the article mentioned....sth lydat....' even if there are students enrolled in engineering faculties, they might not be the best dat the engineering lecturers can coach'..... noe wat came to my mind immediately?

hahaz, i wonder if u got the answer....Yes, i immediately thought of myself! it's like, i was celebrating being an engineering student, but wait...i'm oso one of those who are not among the best talents in engineering....for my place, there r perhaps many tens of ppl out there who could be a much better engineer....hahaz....well, i was juz rather amused by tis article.....

arghh....i've digressed far too much.....i wanted to say other things.....lemme tink....

Tues - dinner with my EE bros right after last paper to usher in the hols!
Wed - Morning swim, afternoon KTV with my sis and xiaotian, at nite i wanna go listen to rallies....
Thurs - Morning kayaking, aftn KTV with my EE bros and maybe some other girl frens?
Fri - most probably pubbing with my EE bros and some other frens....hahaz...either fri or sat...
Sat - WiseUtd gathering or jc gathering..... (after polling of course, heheh)
Sun - i tink there's a Wonderkids Outing....muz cfm again....

hahaz, so i'm quite fully booked oredi, except for a couple of unconfirmed events.....i tink MNO group outing might hav to be the following week....

okie....i started off with no specific agenda and i got lost along the way......so wat does dat mean? okie, dat means it's time for me to express another favorite maxim of mine......which is......
