Friday...

first of all, thank you Sasami and Icy for remembering my interview tonite and wishing me good luck =)

i've tried very hard oredi....and well, i admit that i was a little nervous as it was my first time having a phone interview and to an American at that....I'm very impressed with the company, and it's oso one of the companies which i had been interested right from the outset...so hopefully, i can get it.....i'm keeping my fingers crossed....

for now, i'll concentrate on studying for my exams first....do 1 thing at a time, tis is sth i've learnt tis sem as well...do 1 thing at a time, and each thing, give it my best effort if possible, and eventually, everything will sort out by themselves....

i had a surprise at Burger King tis aftn.....guess who i met?
Mr Gan!!!!! well, i guess most of my frens won't know who he is.....he was my tuition teacher back frm p4 to p6 some RC, those at the void decks dat type....

Alright, lemme slowly relate the story.....todae aftn, i saw his backview...and i wasn't sure if it was him...fyi, i haven't seen him in 10yrs....yes...and all along, i had been hoping to bump into him again since we both stay in Yishun......
I was actually so excited that my heart was thumping hard! it was as strong as dat kind of feeling i'll get if i am to confess my love for a girl whom i like....hahaz.....

well, when he finally stood up to leave, i called out in a little unsure voice.....erm....Mr Gan?
he immediately turned (tink he saw me earlier oso but wasn't sure if i still recognise him) .... and i asked him....

Me: Mr Gan, u still rem me?
Mr Gan: yes, (finger excitedly waving in the air), u don say huh.....then yes....Tan Gim Huat, Chen Jinfa!
Me: wow...amazing....u still rem my full name....hahahaz....(both bursting out in laughter)

yah....although he was my tuition teacher, we were very good friends....partly cos i was one of his better students in class....cos i was one of the 2 or 3 em1 students back then....

aniwaiz, he is a super duper ultra nice guy! and very manly at that......i can't possibly tell the entire story, but i'll share a little....
As a NTU undergrad back in those daes....he gave tuition part time at RC to supplement his pocket money.....BUT, u noe wat? he had tis system...every time he'll give us small tests....out of 100 marks....depending on the grade we get, he'll give the 'Points' accordingly.....and he has this MAGICAL cupboard where there'll be stationery, toys, phonecards etc etc of all sorts.....basically, it was a box of ultimate fantasy for all children my age.....

and being an em1 student back then, i was able to ace his tests quite easily cos they were designed to be a little simpler....and everytime i'll get the most points.....and back then i was collecting phonecards...so eventually i exchanged most of my points for his phonecards...hahaz...so funny....and i exchanged his lightsticks too...i rem his lightsticks were the more 'costly' items so i had to ration my points....

wonderful, beautiful memories.....he'd bring us to play badminton at the Nee Soon East CC too....paying for 3hrs courts...and buying cartons of H20 each time.....we became very good frens....

everytime, i looked forward to going for tuition....although i muz admit that i didn't reali study over there...it was the fun factor....that motivated me to go...seeing my frens, playing soccer before and after tuition....and there was tis female classmate whom i was interested in...hahaz....she used to stay opposite me...so i could walk back with her.....hahahaz....

aniwaiz, he's reali an ultra nice guy.....a guy i'll gladly recommend to any of my female frens who are close to his age....i tink he shld be abt 30-31 now?

well....we exchanged contacts...and we're definitely going to meet up for coffee or sth after my exams....looking forward to dat....

hahaz, okie, time to go back to my work....
