Friday....

another busy dae....but FUN dae.....2 meetings and a mini sec sch class gathering.....whoa!

started the day with DreamTeam's first meeting at PS cafe cartel....i suggested that place cos i thot it'd be quite a conducive place for our first informal gathering....and indeed it was, cos by the time we finished our lunch and was abt to start our meetin, it was pretty empty and i tink the places was kinda drowned out by our loud voices and laughing again...haa.... too bad xiqian cld not come....nvm....he'll experience the fun during the second meeting....

i had a kinda dumb idea which i thot wld be fun.....so i did it.....i asked all of them to fill in tis form....with some simple personal particulars....but the main focus was to highlight their

-strengths,
-weaknesses,
-proudest achivement to date,
-why and
-lastly, their childhood ambition...

although this may sound dumb, i went on with it eventually cos i thot it wld be an effective ice-breaker and enable everyone to understand each other better.....after filling in the forms, i requested everyone to describe themselves to the team based on wat they've written(the 5 abovementioned sections)....it was interesting cos we got to hear wat everyone had to say abt themselves in great detail.....and after each person had spoken, i immediately gave my impressions of that person to the team.....i could cos i was the onli one who oredi knew everyone in e team....tis oso helped to confirm many of their impressions of themselves....overall, everyone learnt quite abit abt each other, which i believe will help to alleviate any difficult situations that may arise in the course of this competition as having members who understand each other better does help in the problem solving process...

aniwaiz, after dat, we juz settled some admin issues....and continued to chat till 4.30....amanda had to leave, karen was meeting her fren....and so zw and i went to walk arnd, had some sinfully delicious cakes at secret recipe and den went over to cityhall for the 2nd meeting of the dae....

the 2nd meeting was for the YEP project....it lasted frm 7.15 to 9.30....i was dead beat by then....many issues were covered but i remained low profile cos since i'm not going for the trip, i thot that it'll be better for the juniors to make most of the decisions themselves....

aniwaiz....aft that....the fun began again!!! jianhong, shiqi and i took a cab from raffles city...supposedly to holland v cos we had planned to go walawala....and kev, isabelle and wunna were reaching there oredi.....hahaz, i had to call karen to ask her how to get there cos all 3 of us weren't sure....but as soon as we got into e cab, isabelle called and asked us if we wanted to change locations....wala was simply too crowded and e queue wasn't moving.....so we decided on clarke quay.....3 of us reached first so we walked arnd and tried to decide which bar to go into....finally, we decided on china1 as it looked quite good....there was a certain dress code....which kevin violated from head to toe....hahaz....cos he was dressed in t-shirt, bermudas and slippers! aniwaiz, in e end, we had some drinks and pizza at one of e restaurants beside the river....and boy, it was fun talking to all of them since some of us have not met for quite a while oredi.....and so we decided to organise a bigger class outing on 17th dec...sat...at china1 as they hav tis nice live band on sats.....kevin's recommendation...haa...

wow....i realise that nowadays my posts r pretty long....which means my life is pretty eventful...haa.....feeling quite tired oredi....i'm going to bed soon....tmr another fun dae.....wiseutd steamboat buffet at marina......till den.....bedtime!

DreamTeam's first meeting was a great success.....i hav faith in everyone....
